10.07 - 15.07 SOUND ISLAND by Ana Rosa & Nigâr

Join us for a week of sound exploration and self-discovery on a magical island, where we will practice the art of deep listening. This retreat is conceived as a delve into the frequencies hidden in our environment and within ourselves. Throughout the week, we will experience a blend of carefully curated practices that revolve around mindfulness, connection and creativity. Guided by AnaRosa and Nigâr, we will explore the transformative power of sound, movement and breath in the sunny embrace and the stunning landscapes of Ibiza. This retreat is ideal for anyone seeking to activate their voice, overcome creative or emotional blocks, deepen their practice, and reconnect with their purpose. It’s an opportunity to enhance self-expression, boost focus and motivation, and restore balance and clarity in life’s direction. Together, we will weave moments of freedom in our creative expression, profound stillness and a joyful connection to ourselves, each other and the island.

Ana Rosa brings over 13 years of dedicated yoga practice, rooted in the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions. Her approach is precise and deeply mindful, focusing on alignment, breath, and fluidity to gently guide students into deeper postures and greater awareness.
As a musician and sound artist, Ana Rosa holds an MA in Sound Art and extensive training in specific instruments, exploring how electronic and acoustic sounds can foster meditative and healing experiences.

Nigâr has been studying the piano and classical music since she was four years old, and experimenting hand in hand with a wide spectrum of instruments, including her own voice. She has extended her love for and dedication to listening ⏤ to sounds as well as stories ⏤ with diplomas in both sound therapy (specialising in the application of tuning forks) and music therapy.
With a master’s degree in social work for human rights, she continues nurturing this parallel path as a part-time member of the psychosocial healthcare team of an assisted living facility providing psychiatric rehabilitation.
