3.12 SOMATIC AWAKENING by Leda Fay

  • HAR STUDIO 116 Urbanstraße Berlin, Berlin, 10967 Deutschland (map)

-The mind-body connection experience-

Somatic movement is a neuromuscular re-education technique that teaches you how to consciously release and relax your muscles in order to regain proper muscle function so you can maintain a healthy body throughout life. Some of its many benefits include increased flexibility and range of motion, better posture, chronic pain prevention, and reduced stress and anxiety.

In this workshop, we will debunk the “myth of aging” and talk about how you can retrain your mind and body to avoid a physical decline associated with getting older. Then, through a series of slow somatic exercises and gentle breathwork techniques, you will practice sensory awareness and reactivate the muscles that have become dormant. The process of somatic awakening of both the body and the mind will be supported throughout by a beautiful soundscape with singing bowls and gongs to help you relax and release completely.

Expect a slow but heartful practice that has the potential to significantly improve both your body awareness and your general sense of well-being.

You don’t need any prior experience to be able to join. All you need is comfortable, warm clothes and an open mind.

Price: 30€ or 25€ with an USC check-in. BOOKINGS HERE.
